Be Ready for your Session - Day of Policies

  • Show up ON TIME. I will not work on you if you are more than 15 minutes late.

    • I’m happy to move/reschedule your appointment with 48 hours notice or more. I know life is hectic and I do my best to be flexible. Please understand that I spend a lot of time preparing for your session and make you a priority, please respect my time. If you reschedule more than twice, I cannot guarantee a 3rd reschedule.

  • Show up healthy, showered, hydrated, and fed. Please try to limit caffeine intake before your session.

  • You will be required to fill out and sign an intake form upon arrival.

    • I will not work on skin that is damaged, broken, or sunburned.

    • Please, take extra good care of yourself, especially in the days before and after our appointment. You are asking your body to heal, take care of yourself.

    • If you are asking me to work on a hairy area, please shave the area in question before our session, it will speed up our prep time so we can get right to the Art.

  • Stencil - I measure and design your tattoo ahead of time, but we may need to adjust the location or scale of the design the day-of. I’ll apply a stencil of your tattoo to the desired location and you’ll have time to view the design on your body and approve placement before we make it permanent.

  • Tattooing - I do my best to estimate the amount of time we’ll need, but please reserve plenty of time around your appointment as it may take longer than anticipated. I will offer you an estimate of how long each project will take, but please keep in mind that project times vary depending on artwork detail, skin condition and type, how well you sit, etc. I ask clients to understand that this is not a perfect science, it's an ART. If your design is complex or for larger full color pieces, it is ideal to plan/book multiple sessions. If you need to leave before your tattoo is complete, I cannot guarantee a rebooking right away.

  • Payment - The design deposit is in addition to the hourly fee. The hourly fee for your tattoo is due the day of your appointment. Accepted payment methods are credit card, debit card, e-transfers such as Zelle and Venmo, and cash. If you have questions about the cost, please discuss with me before your session begins. Pricing details available HERE.

  • Aftercare - You’ll receive written aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing of your new tattoo. Your new tattoo will need 72 hours of very special care and will take approximately 2-3 weeks to heal completely. Never subject a new tattoo to chemicals, fragrances, or sun, and never submerge a new tattoo in water (swimming, bathing, hot-tubbing). There is always a small chance that your skin may react negatively to the process of tattooing. Tattoo inks can cause allergic reactions in some people and broken skin is vulnerable to infection, irritation by chemicals, fragrances, sunburn, and heat rash. These reactions can destroy the integrity of your tattoo and are not a reflection of the technical application by the artist.
